2015 · The channel
In May 2015 he opened his own YouTube channel and described himself in five words that still sit on it: folk singer of Gujarat. The channel became the home for studio songs, Garba nights and full-length dayro recordings.
By September 2026 it had about 281,000 subscribers.
2019 · The breakout
A playful 2019 single released by Raghav Digital, with its sing-along hook “baby mood ma nathi”, became the song that travels with his name. When TV9 Gujarati filmed his Uttarayan celebration, the headline simply called him “Baby Ne Bournvita Pivdavo fame Umesh Barot”.
He still brings it to the stage — his channel carries a live-programme version.
2020 – 2023 · Duets
Next came duets and music videos for a wide spread of labels: Bhammariyado with Trusha Rami (2020, Pop Skope Music), Gori Tame Manda Lidha Mohi Raj with Ishani Dave from Saiyar Mori Re (2022, Saga Music Gujarati), and the Xopple Entertainment music video Tara Jumke, featuring Riddhi Dangar.
Each festival got its own song too, like Rani Karavu Cha-Pani, a 2023 Uttarayan number for Jhankar Music.
2024 – 2026 · New ground
He sang Jhanjariyu, a garba for the Gujarati film Ram Bharosey (in cinemas 19 July 2024, music by Kedar & Bhargav). The devotional songs kept coming too: Rakhje Lili Vansh Vadi with Kavi K Dan and the Hindi Ghar Aaye Hai Ram Dhum Machao, both in 2024.
More Hindi work followed: a Bollywood Night at Glass House, Mumbai (2025), the love song Kyun Hota Hain Pyaar (2026) and, in August 2026, Har Har Mahadev Shambhu.
2023 – 2026 · On tour
Navratri now takes him far from Gujarat. He has played expo halls in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and community grounds in Atlanta, the Great Garba Mahotsav in Leicester and Harrow (2024), and in 2026 Perth and Brampton.
At home the dayro stage remains, like the Madrishana Panchamrut Mahotsav, where he shared the bill with Devayat Khavad.
